The ELEDIA Research Center is pleased to announce that Andrea ALFONSO, Martina RASETTO and Nahele SANTORO have been declared winners (ex aequo) of the 2026 ETRP Advanced Program on Underwater Engineering – MTME Challenge.
The Challenge focused on the design of an underwater acoustic metamaterial meta-atom, addressing advanced concepts in wave manipulation and engineered material responses for underwater applications.
Their outstanding performance, technical excellence, and strong commitment throughout the program have distinguished them among highly competitive teams, leading to this important recognition.
