The ELEDIA Research Center was honored to welcome Prof. Muhammad ZUBAIR (Information Technology University, Lahore) for an inspiring seminar on “Revisiting Fractals and Fractional Dimensions in Electromagnetics: Unlocking New Approaches in Design and Analysis of Practical Devices“.
Prof. Zubair’s seminar explored how fractal geometries and fractional spaces can revolutionize the modeling and optimization of electromagnetic devices. His work showcased advanced applications ranging from field emission and charge transport to rough surface modeling and wave manipulation in anisotropic and disordered media. By bridging theoretical insight with practical design, this talk opened new perspectives for tackling emerging challenges in EM engineering.
