The ELEDIA Research Center was pleased to host Prof. Francesco ANDRIULLI (Politecnico di Torino, Italy) for a seminar on recent advances in computational electromagnetics applied to neuroimaging, titled “EM Digital Twins for Head–Brain Medium: Dosimetry, Imaging, Diagnostics“.
During the seminar, Prof. ANDRIULLI presented emerging computational methods, modeling strategies, and dedicated platforms aimed at improving the accuracy, scalability, and efficiency of high-resolution EEG source reconstruction.
The discussion highlighted the key role of Computational Electromagnetics in brain diagnosis, therapy, and interaction, with particular attention to applications in focal epilepsy, immersive neurofeedback, and brain–machine interfaces. Current research trends, open Grand Challenges, and recent theoretical and experimental developments were also discussed.
