Talking-Vine leverages environmental information collected from the vineyard to associate a #unique #mood with each vine, creating a personalized and #humanized #experience. It goes beyond objective information and cultivation suggestions, adding a #personal #touch to the #plant.
To achieve this, #ELEDIA researchers have harnessed various technologies:
🌐 #Wireless #Sensor #Networks and #InternetOfThings devices to acquire environmental data
🌞 #Machine #Learning techniques to increase spatial resolution and incorporate external data like #weather #forecasts
🌿 #Physiological #Models for estimating plant #health and #stress levels
💬 #AI algorithms to #synthesize #emotions and generate human-like textual messages
Born from the desire to bridge the gap between users and their plants, the #ELEDIA Talking-Vine project emerged during the COVID-19 restrictions, fostering a closer relationship and enhancing the connection with vineyards.
Through the power of the Internet, a symbiotic relationship between users and vineyards is established, enabling #social #interactions, #messages, and #emotions 😊
