Title: Numerical Electromagnetics for Medical Diagnostics (NEMD)

- Principles of microwave imaging and EM wave interaction with biological tissues
- Inverse scattering theory and electromagnetic field reconstruction
- Numerical techniques for medical image reconstruction (linear and non-linear methods)
- Use of simulation tools and diagnostic KPIs to support clinical interpretation
- Integration of EM imaging data within diagnostic workflows and software platforms
Applications in Biomedical Engineering:
- Microwave-based tomographic imaging for thoracic and brain diagnostics
- Inversion-driven models for anomaly detection and tissue characterization
- Real-time biomedical imaging through electromagnetic simulations
- Supporting early diagnosis through physics-based medical imaging
The Master Course is taught in 🇬🇧️ ENGLISH and is offered
