How do we harness ICT technologies to monitor complex systems—like smart cities, infrastructures, and industries—in real time, from anywhere?
By combining distributed sensing with intelligent data management and analytics, transforming raw signals into situational awareness.
What you will learn:
- How to acquire and manage data using IoT, Wireless Sensor Networks, and Satellite systems
- Data structuring, storage, and processing for scalable monitoring
- Defining and extracting Key Performance Indicators for threat detection and risk prioritization
- Techniques to minimize false positives and information overload
- Applications in smart buildings, construction sites, and large civil infrastructures
