What you’ll learn:
- The fundamental concepts of electromagnetic detection, diagnostics, and imaging
- How forward and inverse problems are formulated, including their non-linear and ill-posed nature
- How data collection and additional information can improve the reliability of inverse-problem solutions
- Physics-based, a priori information-based, iterative, and example-driven solution methodologies
- Applications of electromagnetic diagnostics to environmental ecosystems
