OWL research project achievements

We are excited to share the achievements of our #research project #OWL!

OWL, the #Opportunistic #Wireless #Localization, is transforming indoor #localization and #human #activity #monitoring while prioritizing user #privacy. Developed at ELEDIA Research Center, our system utilizes wireless sensing technology, leveraging #commodity #devices and existing #WiFi networks, eliminating the need for additional equipment.

Our machine learning methodology has demonstrated #exceptional #versatility, ranging from user presence detection to #high#resolution #gesture #recognition. Notably, we recently presented our work on classifying four gestures with open-hand versus closed fist at the #IEEE International Conference on Modern Circuits and Systems Technologies (#MOCAST) in Athens, Greece.

This research collaboration involves ELEDIA@UniTN (Università di Trento), ELEDIA@TSINGHUA (Tsinghua University), and ELEDIA@AUTH (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH)). Together, we are pushing the boundaries of wireless sensing technology.

Stay tuned for more updates and opportunities to collaborate in wireless sensing and machine learning. Visit our website at https://lnkd.in/d5tF3-uC for more information.
