The objective of the Postgraduate Program (Master Universitario di II Livello)
Multifunctional Metamaterials and Metastructures (M3)
at the University of Trento is to prepare professionals with a strong foundation in the analysis, design, modeling, simulation, and experimental validation of Multifunctional Metamaterials and Metastructures.
Throughout the program, you will develop both theoretical knowledge and practical skills to tackle complex engineering challenges across multiple disciplines.
In particular, you will learn how to:
📚 Master the Fundamentals
Build a solid understanding of the physical principles underlying multifunctional metamaterials and metastructures.
🧩 Analyze and Design Innovative Solutions
Develop analytical and mathematical methods to design next-generation artificial materials and structures.
💻 Model and Simulate Complex Systems
Learn advanced analytical, numerical, and AI-assisted modeling techniques, leveraging High-Performance Computing (HPC) for multi-physics simulations.
🧪 Validate Your Designs
Gain hands-on experience through laboratory activities and experimental characterization of multifunctional materials and metastructures.
🌍 Apply Your Skills
Address real-world challenges in structural, mechanical, electromagnetic, energy, environmental, marine, and other multidisciplinary engineering applications.
Whether you aim for a career in research or industry, the M3 Postgraduate Program equips you with the knowledge and practical skills to make an impact.
