The ELEDIA Research Center is pleased to present the research project #NIVES. The “avalaNche InterVention sEarch and reScue” (NIVES) is a decision support system for the management of search operations of people lost in mountain due to avalanches.
NIVES exploits #bigdata mining and #artificialintelligence to estimate the presence probability (interactive 2D and 3D maps) as well as to support #decisionmakers for the selection and the deployment of #rescueteams.
The research activity is part of the collaboration framework between #ELEDIA and Soccorso Alpino e Speleologico Trentino.
