Good news in the framework of the National #Research#Project (#PON) #SMARTOUR – “Piattaforma intelligente per il turismo” !
The ELEDIA Research Center is contributing to the national project SMARTOUR with #innovative#opportunistic#wireless-based techniques for #indoor#localization of visitors.
In particular, one more amazing location has been selected for the experimental validation of the ELEDIA #WiFi#location system: the Museo del Tessuto, Prato, Italy.
The Museo del Tessuto is the largest cultural centre in Italy dedicated to the promotion of historical and contemporary textile production and art. The Museum represents the historical memory and the cultural interface of the Prato district, which boasts over 7000 companies operating in this sector.
