The ELEDIA Research Center is pleased to announce that Prof. Marco Donald Migliore, from ELEDIA@UniCas, will join the Huawei Strategy and Technology Workshop 2021 with a panel about about “Information Flows on the Border between Information Theory and #Electromagnetism“!
In his session a series of concepts concerning the relationships between electromagnetic theory and information transmitted in communication systems using electromagnetic waves will be organized in a systematic framework through the introduction of the “Deep Physical Layer” (DPL), a layer placed under the Physical Layer (PL) of the OSI model. After analyzing the flow of information at the DPL level, some applications are proposed in the context of 6G.
