The ELEDIA Research Center is pleased to present the Laboratory Courses of the 2027 M3 Postgraduate Program in Multifunctional Metamaterials and Metastructures at the University of Trento.
The Laboratory Courses complement the theoretical foundations of the Program through hands-on activities focused on the modeling, design, manufacturing, characterization, and experimental validation of multifunctional metamaterials and metastructures.
🧪 Constrained-Choice Laboratory Courses
Participants will select 5 out of the following 7 courses:
- Laboratory on Additive Manufacturing of Metamaterials (LAM)
- Laboratory on Advanced Computational Modeling of Mechanical Metamaterials (LACM)
- Laboratory on Deployable Metamaterials (LDM)
- Laboratory on Metasurfaces for Smart Electromagnetic Environment (LMSEME)
- Laboratory on Multifunctional Materials (LMM)
- Laboratory on Product Design Fundamentals (LPDF)
- Laboratory on Smart Electromagnetic Environments (LSEME)
Each laboratory course includes 15 hours of hands-on teaching activities and awards 2 ECTS. Through the M3 learning-by-doing approach, participants will gain practical experience with advanced computational tools, manufacturing technologies, experimental procedures, material characterization techniques, product design methods, and innovative metamaterial applications.
