The ELEDIA Research Center is pleased to announce the IEEE AP-S Distinguished Lecturers Workshop, which will take place on January 28th, 2026, at the University of Trento, Room B107, Polo Scientifico e Tecnologico Fabio Ferrari, Via Sommarive 9.
The workshop will bring together internationally recognized IEEE Distinguished Lecturers, Fellows, and Senior Members to present and discuss recent advances in antennas propagation, applied electromagnetics, and electromagnetic education, offering a comprehensive overview of both technological developments and future research directions.
Distinguished Lecturers
The program features the following invited speakers and talks:
- Dr. Giovanni TOSO (European Space Agency, IEEE Fellow): “Ongoing Developments in Multibeam Antennas”
- Prof. Satish SHARMA (San Diego State University, IEEE Fellow): “Design and Development of Flat Panel Phased Array Antennas for Wireless and Satellite Communication Applications”
- Prof. Levent SEVGI (İstanbul Technical University, IEEE Fellow): “From Engineering Electromagnetics to Electromagnetic Engineering: Teaching/Training Next Generations”
- Prof. Özlem ÖZGÜN (Hacettepe University, IEEE Senior Member): “Magic World of Transformation Electromagnetics: Invisibility and Beyond”
Organized within the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society Distinguished Lecturer Program, the workshop is addressed to students, early-career researchers, and professionals interested in cutting-edge developments in antennas, propagation, and electromagnetic technologies.
