ABSTRACT
The course offers a comprehensive exploration of the foundational principles of electromagnetic theory, equipping students with the necessary tools to comprehend the propagation of electromagnetic waves. Participants will gain a deep understanding of how these waves behave in various mediums, including free space and within guiding devices such as rectangular/circular waveguides, coaxial cables, and optical fibers. Students will develop proficiency in analyzing and manipulating electromagnetic phenomena, laying a solid groundwork for further exploration in this field.

- Plane waves
- Propagation and attenuation of electromagnetic waves in lossless media
