QU Shi-Wei

QU Shi-Wei was born in He’nan province, China in 1980. He received the B.Eng. and M.Sci. degrees from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC), Chengdu, in 2001 and 2006, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in the City University of Hong Kong (CityU), in October 2009. He is currently a Professor with the School of Electronic Engineering, UESTC. He joined the UESTC as an Associate Professor in October 2010. From 2009 to 2010, he was a COE (Global Center of Excellence) Research Fellow and a Postdoctoral Fellow in Tohoku University, Sendai, Japan. From 2001 to 2002, he was with the 10th Institute of Chinese Information Industry. From 2006 to 2007, he was a Research Assistant in the Department of Electronic Engineering, CityU. He has authored or coauthored over 50 internationally referred papers and over 30 international conference papers, including 12 papers in IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation and 1 paper on Scientific Reports. His current research interests include phased arrays, millimeter-wave and terahertz antennas/arrays, and nanoantennas.
