Abstract

A novel method for the design of a subarrayed phased arrays (PAs) is proposed based on the power pattern synthesis by controlling complex excitations. A set of numerical results is presented in order to highlight the effectiveness and advantages compared to existing excitation matching (EM)-based clustering techniques.
