The physical-level configuration of antenna systems include controlling their radiation pattern properties, spatial\/frequency filtering capabilities, and scanning\/nulling directions, for instance. In this framework, Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as a powerful paradigm to address the complexity associated to antenna and array control problems in a scalable and efficient manner.
