Abstract<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In a Smart Electromagnetic Environment (SEME), the environment is no more an obstacle to wireless signals, but instead enables controlling and tailoring the propagation of electromagnetic waves thanks to the use of smart devices. In this framework, the laboratory aims at providing the methodological and technical skills and knowledge for the design, synthesis, and validation of artificial surfaces, metasurfaces, and Electromagnetic Skins, both static and reconfigurable, for the development of next generation wireless communications and sensing applications in the SEME vision. During the lab, computer-guided exercises will be carried out for the electromagnetic modeling, simulation, and numerical validation of such smart devices using commercial SW tools.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
