MIGLIORE Marco Donald

Director ELEDIA @ UniCAS

Professor at the University of Cassino and Southern Lazio, Cassino, Italy

MIGLIORE Marco Donald received the Laurea (Hons.) and Ph.D. degrees in electronic engineering from the University of Naples, Naples, Italy.
He was a Visiting Professor at the University of San Diego in California, San Diego, CA, USA, at the University of Rennes 1, Rennes, France, at the Centria Research Center (Kokkola), at the Technical University of Harbin (China) and a Speaker with the Summer Research Lecture Series of the UCSD CALIT2 Advanced Network Science (ANS) in 2008. He is Full Professor at the University of Cassino and Southern Lazio, Cassino, Italy. His research interests include the connections between electromagnetism and information theory, the analysis, synthesis, and characterization of antennas in complex environments, MIMO antennas and propagation, ad hoc wireless networks, antenna measurements, and energetic applications of microwaves. He is Director of Studies of the Computer Science and Telecommunications Engineering at the University of Cassino and Southern Lazio and Director of the Microwave Laboratory of the University of Cassino and Southern Lazio.
Prof. Migliore is a member of the ELEDIA Research Center, of the Italian Electromagnetic Society (SIEM), of the National Inter-University Consortium for Telecommunication (CNIT) of the IEEmB (National Interuniversity research center on the Interactions between Electromagnetic Fields and Biosystems). He serves as a Referee for many scientific journals, including the IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation, the IEEE Antennas and Wireless Propagation Letters, the IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, the Journal of Optical Society of America, the IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing, and the IEEE Transactions on Information Theory. He has been Associate Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation.
