VALAVANIS Dimitrios

MSc Thesis student

VALAVANIS Dimitrios was born in Thessaloniki, Greece in March 1988. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Physics from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2015; he is now on his way to obtain a Master’s degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from the same university. Dimitrios’s studies are focused on telecommunication systems, antenna design, and computer networks. He is also interested in novel ways to analyze time series of non-linear dynamical systems. He was recently awarded a commendation for the quality of his oral presentation at the 2017 First Conference in Chemistry for Undergraduate and Graduate Students at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki; he presented a characterization on the behavior of an electrochemical system using Recurrence Quantification Analysis. Dimitrios has previous work experience in the IT sector and is working regularly in Matlab.
