SIAKAVARA Katherine received the BSc degree in Physics in 1977, the MSc degree in Electronics, in 1979, from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece and was awarded the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the same university in 1982. She is currently Professor in the Department of Physics of the University of Thessaloniki, Greece. Dr. Siakavara is author or co-author of 54 international journal papers, of 56 papers in proceedings of international conferences, of 3 book chapters in English and co-author in 2 books in Greek. Her research interests are in the areas of a) Applied Electromagnetism b)Analysis and Design of Antenna Systems c)Microwaves and d)Radio-wave propagation and radio-communications
