BOURSIANIS D. Achilles received the B.Sc. degree in Physics, the M.Sc. degree in Electronic Physics (Radioelectrology) in the area of Electronics Telecommunications Technology, and the Ph.D. degree in the area of Telecommunications, all from the Department of Physics, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. The subject of his dissertation was: “Analysis, monitoring, and optimization of broadband networks”. He has been working as a researcher for more than 20 research projects (national and European) in Radiocommunications Laboratory of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. His research interests include wireless sensor networks, non-ionizing radiation protection, broadband fiber-optic networks, antenna design, and 5G communication networks. He is an author or co-author of 28 articles in international peer-reviewed journals and conferences. He is also a reviewer for 4 international scientific journals. He has served as a member of technical program committee in two international conferences which are technically sponsored by IEEE. Dr. Achilles D. Boursianis is a member of the Hellenic Physical Society, and a member of the scientific committee of the national association of Fédération des Ingénieurs des Télécommunications de la Communauté Européenne (FITCE).
