An innovative sensitivity tool is proposed, based on interval arithmetic and the Minkowski sum. Narrow but inclusive bounds can be analytically derived on the radiation pattern starting from the tolerances on the array excitations (both in amplitude and in phase). Moreover, thanks to the Minkowski sum, narrower intervals are estimated with respect to standard interval analysis (IA) tools based on the Cartesian rules.
