Abstract

In this work, a novel inverse scattering technique is proposed to deal with the imaging of sparse scatterers under the Born approximation. A Bayesian compressive sensing (BCS) solver is integrated within an iterative multi-scaling approach (IMSA) to exploit the progressively acquired information on the imaged scenario and adaptively improve the reconstruction accuracy and resolution within the identified region of interest (RoI). Selected numerical results are shown in order to assess the potentialities, as well as the limitations, of the proposed imaging methodology.
