Abstract

Parabolic antennas are in general very used for satellite communication systems thanks to their radiation characteristics, which allow to concentrate quite all the antenna radiation towards a precise direction. Given some radiation requirements, the objective of this activity is to model a parabolic antenna by using an optimization algorithm, which allows to enhance the radiation characteristic while complying with the imposed requirements.
